As part of SUNY Plattsburgh’s monthlong celebration of Black History Month, join us for a speaker presentation by historian and UU Fellowship member Don Papson. He will speak from noon-1 p.m. on the topic of “A Life After the Underground Railroad: The Untold Story of Rev. Robert Brown.”

Don Papson writes, “Rev. Brown self-emancipated himself from slavery in the United States. He lived in Toronto before moving to Montreal, where he served his community for over 30 years. Please share the link and join  us in this celebration of  ‘A Life After the Underground Railroad.'”

UU Fellowship member Don Papson is a co-founder of North Country Underground Railroad Historical Association and  North Star Underground Railroad Museum and co-author of Secret Lives of the Underground Railroad in New York City: Sydney Howard Gay, Lewis Napoleon and the Record of Fugitives
