Black Lives Matter Committee to Host Sept. 2 Potluck to Welcome Back Students

The Black Lives Matter committee is gearing up for our second potluck dinner for students at SUNY Plattsburgh. It will be held on Sunday, Sept. 2, from 6-8 p.m. You can help by attending the potluck, mingling with the students and bringing a dish to share. One thing we noted from the last potluck was that the students also appreciate vegetarian and/or vegan food.

We have also scheduled our first story slam/open mic for Friday, Oct. 26. The Black Lives Matter Committee is really interested to hear the stories that the students may have or may want to share. We will promote this event at the potluck and plan to have a sign-up sheet for students that might want to participate.
