In Unity Is Strength

With collective power, we can foster social change, create genuine connections, and build financial might, benefiting everyone in our Fellowship. Let’s take a moment to celebrate the wonderful things we achieved together in 2025 and look forward into 2026!

Religious Education

In the last year, we have added three new families to our membership. Our current group of children is young, ranging in age from infancy to about 8 years old. Our programming for this young group focuses on building positive relationships with kindness at its center. Later this year, children in grades kindergarten through second grade will engage in more formal interactions with UU Religious Education programming. Our goal in all our programming is to help support young families in the important task of raising children who are kind, generous, healthy, and happy.

Side with Love Social Justice Teams

The organizational strategy team of the Unitarian Universalist Association guides our social justice teams at the UU Fellowship. As people of faith, we know that democracy is not about domination; it’s about covenant: how we live together, honor each other’s dignity, and shape a shared future.

Most recently, all our teams practiced love in action by standing side by side at the No Kings Plattsburgh event. All our social justice teams practice love in action to advance equitable national policies and actions through witness, education, and advocacy. Practicing love takes the form of postcarding, book studies, sponsoring a newcomer family from Ecuador, working with Plattsburgh Cares and the Interfaith Council to make emergency food bags for local people, and working at the Interfaith Food Shelf and the Community Meal of Trinity Church.

Genuine Connections

We are committed to continuing to offer spiritually rich worship services that inspire, challenge, and support you through hard times, and to keep love at the center of all life’s stages. Our “Fun Fridays” events have opened our doors to anyone wanting to linger and build new connections over a shared meal. Our goal is to foreground what you’ve told us you needed the most during this challenging season: opportunities to Connect, Engage, and Build a Better World.

In Unity There is Strength to Build Financial Might

As we look towards 2026, let’s remember that our strength lies in our unity. Together, we can build the financial strength needed to continue our mission. Your financial gifts are the lifeblood of our Fellowship, ensuring our fiscal health and the continuation of our mission.
