A huge part of creating goodness in the world around us lies in our ability to pay close attention to the opportunities that we have each and to create more love every day by sharing it with others. We just finished our Stewardship Campaign, which included some members sharing and reflecting on what our fellowship means to them. Our fellowship would not be the community it is without our individual commitment to commune with one another. We do this on Sundays when we come together to worship and then we stay to talk and get to know each other better. Many of the families that have adult children who have grown up together here and still have such wonderful bonds have shared how the many gatherings that they all initiated with one another over the years was really what created the space for these relationships to grow stronger and to become even more fruitful.
HO HO HO! In light of the season, we are hosting a wrapping party! This fundraising event invites us all to come spend time together. You bring the gifts and we will provide the wrapping paper and the labor. Friday, Dec. 14, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Join us here at the fellowship.
Children will be downstairs doing a holiday craft with Kris Lutters, Director of Religious Exploration. Helping us wrap gifts is optional.
THE FUNDRAISER PART? Admission is $10 per person. Children 12 and under are free. We are also encouraging everyone to bring a toy for a child in need. After we wrap it, the toy will go under our mitten tree. All proceeds will go entirely to helping our fellowship with expenses for the new year. HO HO HO!
