Wild Wanderings at Point Au Roche State Park – An All-Ages Event!
One of the goals of this time together is to honor “the mutual indwelling of the Sacred with the Earth and all of its beings.” We hope to help participants open themselves to the essence of the sacred that is within the created world. Importantly, this experience is open to both traditional church-goers and those for whom a faith community is no longer, or never was, a place to have this experience.
We will meet once per month for 1 to 1.5 hours on Saturdays in the woods on:
- April 30, 2022, at 6 p.m.
- May 21, 2022, at 9 a.m.
- June 18, 2022, at 6 p.m.
(You are welcome to attend any or all of the wanderings)
All spiritualities and faith expressions are welcome. Wild Wanderings gatherings offer opportunities for contemplation, grief, and praise, movement, and song, solo wandering and wondering, advocacy, ecological restoration, and activism on behalf of and in collaboration with the beloved others in our watersheds. We seek to create beloved community re-connected with all creation.
Expect to experience connecting, healing, and community in wild spaces. Each gathering has 4 movements: centering, reflecting, sharing, sending.
We will meet at the parking lot at the Nature Center at Point au Roche State Park – use the 2nd entrance.
