We’d love your help in one or any of these ways. (And psst — helping out is a great way to build new connections.)
  • Sunday morning coffee host: Choose what works for you: an occasional Sunday, or one Sunday/month, or even more. Arrive at 9:30 to make coffee OR linger after service to help load the dishwasher and clean up. The sign-up sheet is on our greeter’s table.
  • Tech Team: Sunday mornings, up on the balcony during service. No formal computer skills required.  Feel free to join us on a Sunday just to see what it’s like!
  • Compassionate Cooks & Compassionate Visitors: We have two teams ready to meet your needs. Compassionate Cooks have been one of our most valued ministries for many years! Compassionate Cooks provide meals for those recovering from surgery, childbirth, and other significant life events. The Compassionate Visitors team is available to visit for people who are homebound for any reason . . . Kris Lutters will serve as coordinator of our willing cooks and visitors. She will contact the individual or family who could use some meals or visits, find out their meal preferences and dietary needs, and when they could use meals delivered. Kris will then contact our many team members — voila! — as if by magic, meals or visits arrive, as needed. Oh, feel the love! If you are interested in cooking or visiting, please contact the Care Team through Kris Lutters (klutters@gmail.com) or love@uuplattsburgh.org .
  • Would you like to be a reader during a Sunday service? Contact Jo El Miano, member of the Worship Team (joellen.miano@gmail.com).

  • Transportation Team: Sign up to provide a ride for someone in need to, from (maybe both) the fellowship for Sunday service. Contact Dorothy Latta (lattadm@gmail.com).
