Following in the footsteps of Lee Clark’s message on Oct. 20, entitled, “Taught Your Brain Any New Tricks?,” the weekly Search for Meaning group will devote the first half hour on Tuesday nights to discussion of what members and friends are experiencing from regular meditation practice. Lee invited those interested to try a 12-minute-per-day meditation, utilizing the chant, “Sa-Ta-Na-Ma” (or some other mantra) for 8 weeks. Of course, participants may choose any meditation they like — perhaps a recorded guided meditation or a moving meditation like Tai Chi. On Tuesday evenings from 7:30-8:00 p.m., the Search for Meaning group will focus discussion on the benefits and lessons learned from meditation practice. The regular meeting will then get underway and meditation participants may leave or stay as they prefer. The group will be reading aloud essays from Dr. Yuval Noah Harari’s latest book, “21 Lessons for the 21st Century.” Please join us!
