We all want to feel safe, secure, and protected. In pursuit of this, we often find ourselves trying to control the world. This usually leads to frustration and even more insecurity.

The Buddha’s teachings provide accessible ways to look within and to learn to cultivate qualities that lead to a sense of inner safety and security that will allow us to live in this mutable world with greater equanimity. But it’s important to realize that true safety and security can only be found within ourselves. The Buddha’s teachings provide accessible ways to look within and to learn to cultivate qualities that lead to a sense of inner safety and security that will allow us to live in this mutable world with greater equanimity.

For the safety of friends, members, and community, we continue to host our Sunday services online, at 10:30 a.m. These gatherings feature a short, simple format focused on honoring and strengthening the connections between us.
