Contribute to Our Mission

The fellowship shares half of undesignated donations received following our Sunday services with a community organization or charity that does work consistent with our UU values and mission, organizations involved in promoting community services, and social justice.

For November we have selected Joint Council for Economic Opportunity of Clinton and Franklin Counties‘ (JCEO) Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) as our Share the Plate organization.

HEAP benefits are designed to assist eligible households in paying a portion of their energy costs. The Emergency HEAP program provides additional assistance for those households facing a heat-related emergency. Assistance with fuel deliveries, utility shutoffs, temporary relocation, repair and/or replacement of applicant owned heating equipment may be provided.

JCEO, a private, not-for-profit human service agency that serves the residents of Clinton and
Franklin Counties, is the certifying agent for HEAP benefits for Clinton County. Learn more about the HEAP Program.

To donate, mail a check to the fellowship (4 Palmer St., Plattsburgh, NY 12901) and indicate “HEAP” on the memo line. You can also text “GIVE” to 518-594-8008.
