The next meeting of the UU Book Club will be at 1:30 p.m. at Palmer St. on Wed., Sept. 12. We will be discussing Michael Ondaatje’s latest novel, “Warlight.” The setting is post-war London in 1945. The parents of 14-year-old Nathaniel and his slightly older sister, Rachel, leave for Singapore for one year because of their father’s work. They are left alone to go to school and return to their family home on weekends in the care of a rather strange person they know as The Moth. Twelve years later, Nathaniel begins to uncover all he didn’t know and understand during that earlier time.
