Members of many UU congregations strengthen their connections to each other and deepen their understanding of a topic or issue through a common read. The selection for this fall is “Ghost Boys” by Jewell Parker Rhodes. This is a multigenerational common read and we are encouraging everyone to find a copy and read; copies of the book will be provided to families with children and youth. The book is suitable for children beginning at about 4th grade but families should, of course, make judgements about their own children. Pizza and conversation about “Ghost Boys” is scheduled for 5:30-7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, at the fellowship. You can check out a synopsis of the book at http://jewellparkerrhodes.com/
